Our mission
Close to home and further afield.
Hands & Haven responds to concrete needs. Sometimes that means packing and delivering care packages by hand. Sometimes it means getting food to families after a flood, or funding a well for a school that has never had running water. We stay close to the people we serve and go see the work ourselves.
Two halves of one name
Hands
Practical help, delivered directly. Every rupiah raised goes to a specific need, and we report back to the people who gave.
Haven
Comfort and stability for people going through hard times: food, health essentials, clean water and basic dignity.
Who we are
The people behind it
Hands & Haven was started by two friends who wanted to do more than talk about helping. We began with 100 care packages packed by hand, and we still run every project ourselves, from planning to delivery.
